Pressure Cooker/idly cooker baking

I bake in pressure cooker now and then not regularly. But, i read in some sites & blogs that cooker turns brown as you use it for baking regularly i am not sure of it. :)

1) You can use aluminium cooker/idly cooker. Place some sand/salt about 1.5 cup and spread it on the bottom of cooker.
2)Use a idly stand/some ring to place on the sand. This is to avoid the direct contact between sand and cake pan. We don't want our cake to burn.

3)Remove whistle and cooker rubber(if you are using pressure cooker). DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE this is very important.

4) Close the lid and PREHEAT your pressure cooker on medium flame for 7-8 min(You should feel the heat around the cooker)

5)While its preheating, grease your cake pan with butter/oil/cooking oil spray and dust it with some flour. This helps in getting the cake easily out of the pan.
( you can use tadka box as in below pic/cake pan)

6) Prepare cake batter of your choice( i have prepared sooji cake batter in below pic) and pour it into prepared cake pan.

7) Close the lid and heat it on low flame for 35-50 minutes (time depends on the type of batter, size of the cake pan etc).So check once after 35 min and proceed accordingly.
8)Insert a toothpick/fork at the center of the cake and check if its done, it should come out clear.
9)Once its done, switch of the flame and close the lid and rest it on the stove for 10 min more before taking out of the cooker.
After 10 min take the cake and let it cool(for ~15min).
Use a knife and run it around the cake and tap the cake upside down.
  Your yummy cake is ready..!!
